• Get your pen and paper ready

• Tap "Backup Manually" on screen. Never click backup to google drive (this option is for those who do not have pen and paper at the time, so they can currently save their seed phrase and later delete it once they have written it down on paper).

• Write down all 12 or 24 words in exact order with numbers

• Write clearly with fine and big handwriting which is easily readable to you

• At last, double-check each word is spelled correctly and in correct order

Critical Security Rules:

✓ Never save in notes apps, email, or cloud storage
✓ Never share with anyone for any reason

Why This Matters:

As we said above, you can think of the seed phrase as the master key of your crypto wallet, so for example if you forgot your home keys or lost them, then definitely you will call a keymaker which will create a masterkey which can easily open only your house, not others.

But there is a difference between a house master key and a crypto wallet master key (seed phrase). The house master key is created after it gets lost, but seed phrase is created at the time when you create a wallet.

So if ever you lost your seedphrase and then you also lose your phone or you forgot your pin at that time you will not be able to login to your wallet because you do not have masterkey (seed phrase) with which you can open your wallet

After you have written down your seed phrase, the app will test that you actually wrote it correctly.

The next screen after clicking on continue is to verify the secret phrase (seed phrase). The screen will show you either none or one word properly inserted in the box.

And the rest will be in random order. You need to tap them in the correct sequence properly. Here you need to look in your paper where you have written your seed phrase for reference:

• Look at your written paper

• Find word #1 and tap it on screen

• Find word #2 and tap it

• Continue until all 12 words are tapped in correct order

• Tap "Confirm" or "Verify"

If you make a mistake then the app will tell you. So check your written backup carefully and then try again.

Google 2FA

This option lets you enable Google 2FA. It is not compulsory but it is suggested to turn on google 2FA. The reason is that whenever you will login you will need to verify your login with code.

So even if someone knows your passcode to login they will need google 2FA code and that will be in your other device. And after each 30 sec this code changes. So if someone thinks that we will remember this code they are wrong.

Email Authentication

This option sends you email notification of all activities for example send, receive, swap etc.

Enable Biometric Unlock

This option enables biometric unlocking which adds an extra security feature for opening your app.
